Truth About Abs By Mike Geary

Like many women throughout history, I have struggled with accepting my body from Day One. I was also a bit bigger than the other girls growing up through Junior High and High School, and was a bit more concious of it when I attended College. Being surrounded by all those young women showing off their looks while wearing skirts and tight jeans can really get a girl down on herself. I was too busy studying to bother with a proper fitness routine, not that I knew what a good system was back then, so my body never changed. I did try a lot of fad diets, but to no avail. My body was simply not changing for me.

Things were much worse after I graduated, married, and decided to have a child with my husband. I tried not to, but I gave in and started “eating for two.” I had problems with my lower back that made me stop working, and I became much more sedentary than I had ever been before. Not only did I start growing in the stomach as the child grew, my body started to hang lower in places I never thought it would. I was turning into one of those fat women that you only see on TV or waddling around through the grocery stores.

After giving birth, I decided that I had to make more of an effort to lose all of these extra pounds, because I really wanted to go on a cruise and wear a bikini – I had never owned one in my life, and rarely went swimming in the past. Being at home with a kid gave me the opportunity to try out a lot of new things that I didn’t know about before. I tried everything I could put my hands on: ab rollers, Tae-Bo, yoga, pilates, tai chi. Nothing was working for me. I was ready to give it all up and grab my tub of ice cream to live a life of a fatty.

Hiring a personal trainer was the next step for me. I did several sessions with him, and he started to give me more information in regards to routines and diets. I decided to look up on the internet to do some personal reading about exercise and ab routines, when I came across Truth About Abs.

All I can say about it is, “Wow!” I read all the information on the site, decided to purchase the book, along with the extra freebies, and devoured the entire book in a day. All the information I found within the book was exactly what my personal trainer had been telling me for the past few sessions. So you know what I did the next day? I cancelled the trainer sessions and focused entirely on what I found within Truth About Abs.

Two weeks flew by and I started to feel better about myself. Then a month, then three months. By the end of the third month, people started commenting on my weight loss, and that was further encouragement to keep pushing myself for the next few months. When six months came around, the results were incredible to me (and my husband). I went from a size 14 to a size 5, dropped over 40 pounds, and felt dead sexy in some new clothes I bought myself as a reward. That wasn’t enough for me, so I kept pushing and working at it until I toned up my mid-section even further until it was as tight and lean as a fitness model.

To think that I accomplished this all by purchasing a book that cost me less than $40 is insane. I wish I had known about all this back in college before I let things get away from me. The extras I received were especially good in keeping me on track with my goals. I loved waking up to the audiofiles to motivate me through the day. I made my friends watch the DVD from Kim Lyons to inpsire them to lose weight with me, too. Thanks to Truth About Abs, not only have I slimmed down, but my friends are on track, too.

I can not say enough about this book, as it has dramatically changed my life and body for the better. There is no going back now, sexy abs are here to stay!
